Memory Nexus : Molecule 05 - SPIN-FERT / The Breath of Soil

Hi everyone, I'm excited to share one of the projects I've been working on for Art & Science Node.

I've learned a lot on this project, especially to work with Touch Designer.

This project is a 3D interactive audiovisual project and has been done to be part of The Breath of Soil / Memory Nexus project which supports the communication of SPIN-FERT program.

In this project, the molecule has been created to illustrate the scent of healthy soil and the memories that it could bring to people.

The Molecule 05 is based on memories collected during the ECSITE Conference at the Copernicus Centre in Warsaw, June 2025.

There is 4 categories of memories :
- Wonder & Curiosity (Adenine)
- Safety & Belonging (Uracil)
- Nostalgia & Sensory Echoes (Cytosine)
- Uncanny & Ambiguous (Guanine)

When one specific keyboard key is pressed, a molecule memory is played, which will lead to a voice narrating the memory along with visual and audio effects to illustrate it.

This project will be used as a projection for the Memory Nexus exhibition, the molecule visuals will be projected and mapped, the face visuals will be on the monitor of the computer people will interact with.
